Through the fight for acceptance with the human world, and the war between the Brotherhood, Professor Xavier has done his best, being a leader, mentor, and a powerful mutant, but he has fought his last battle.
With all the help from the X-men, the newer technology, and his telepathic powers, he has finally passed away. He died from a tumor on his brain. Or so we thought.
At the moment, there is a new threat. A threat far greater than that of Magneto or the Phoenix. These new beings are super mutants, with power that Xavier himself could not begin to imagine. They've come from a time long ago, and are now in our world, threatening to destroy those they deem unworthy, including weaker mutants.
The Brotherhood and the X-Men may have to put their differences aside in order to try and defeat this new enemy, or life as they know it will cease to exist.
Our plots will continue to evolve and change along with the site.

Adding to the threat of the Super Mutants is the new act proposed by the newly elected president and approved of by Congress. It's called the Mutant Registration Act, and it forces all mutants to register themselves for the government. According to the president, "This act will protect them, not harm them. It will allow us to figure out how many mutants we are dealing with and how we can best accommodate them. These so-called Super Mutants want mutants to join their cause, and we cannot allow that. That is why this act is so important. I urge all mutants to register quickly. The sooner you register, the safer you'll be. Failure to register will result in severe punishment."
No one is sure what the passing of this act will do for the mutant community. There are already strained relations between non-mutants and mutants. Alot of the key mutant groups have been silent thus far, and no one is certain what the future holds now that this act was passed.

Well, the time has finally come my friends. Charles Xavier is finally back!
The New Breed
Dia, Jean and Longshot were able to resurrect Charles Xavier. Though it took much time and effort, the deed was finally done. It was time for Xavier to take his place back in the mutant community. The world dealt with the news with great skepticism. A lot had happened and changed since he ‘left’. Upon his return, he was informed of the Super Mutants, the Sentinels, the Mutant Registration Act, Magneto’s disappearance from the world, as well as several of his own X-Men’s disappearance.
Xavier decided that it was time to take action. With most of his X-Men gone, it was time to create another group. He realized that there was a great influx of students at the Academy, many ready to blossom. Xavier assigned some of his most reliable (TBA) members to help train some of the students. It was time for a new breed.
The Brotherhood was effectively destroyed after the Super Mutants arrived. Many members left once Magneto disappeared. Zendra now put herself in charge, but has found that rebuilding the Brotherhood is quite difficult. Word spreads that Zendra is now officially in charge. Many Brotherhood members who left have returned once they know the group is stable once more, but two questions arise: Will Zendra accept them back and where’s Magneto? Zendra has changed the Brotherhood. She has rid herself of the past. The New Brotherhood, as she calls it, is more about mutant preservation than it is about mankind and the evils of humans. Will older members accept this new Brotherhood?
On a more global scale, the Super Mutants still roam free. Off and on there are reports of ‘sightings’. It isn’t until Xavier sends out a mental message to the Supers that they finally appear once more, though much smaller in numbers. One last fight ensues, before the Supers are finished and sent back to their own time.
Contrary to popular belief, not all mutants get along. There is a rising dissent within the community. Governments around the world are asking a lot of their mutants. Some have even gone as far as to create mutant towns, forcing mutants to live in desolate conditions. The United States government has quietly been reassigning known mutants who’ve signed the Mutant Registration Act to live on property designed solely ‘for their kind’. This has created a division within the community. Many mutants are furious at the government for forcing them out of their homes and into horrible conditions. There are those mutants who believe that the government is trying to protect them from humans.
When things appear to get way out of hand, Xavier sends a mental message urging everyone for peace. This message was what Magneto needed to hear to know that Xavier was in fact really back. Magneto was in Genosha. He had been for a year. He had left his Brotherhood to fend for themselves while he was creating a mutant world of his own. When Xavier’s message reached him, he invited his old friend to his new dwellings.
While all of this is going on, no one was prepared for what happened next. There were always inklings of a mutant group with unique abilities and influence, but many believed that those were myths from long ago. It wasn’t until a man calling himself Drakonis Phoenixius, arrived on the scene did people began to believe it was a second coming. He claimed to be looking for people calling themselves The Zodiac. Word quickly spread within the mutant community, prompting many of those who were once with the ancient group to resurface. The Zodiac poses a unique danger to society in that they are untrusting of each other.
To counter this movement, the governments of the world’s superpowers secretly created a group called The Crimson Order. This group’s main mission is to use mutants to fuel their own political and financial agendas. Governments aren’t stupid. Even they realize that there are mutants out there with powers that would be quite beneficial to use. The Crimson Order didn’t discriminate against who they abducted and then later tested on.
With all this going on, it’s easy to see why no one was in agreement with each other. There are so many different factions, but with Xavier back, he seems to be the main one who can bring peace to a chaotic world.
